The Google visibility check.
The exact check my AI employee ran on a new client's site before we wrote a word. Paste the prompt and yours does it too.
10 city pages and 3 blog posts, all missing.
WHY
The pages were set up correctly and listed in the sitemap. But the menu and homepage linked to none of them, so Google treated them as unimportant.
THE FIX
An "Areas We Serve" footer block linking every city page, plus homepage links to each service page.
WHAT IT DOES
- Pulls every page from your sitemap
- Asks Google Search Console, page by page: on Google or not?
- For each missing page, checks for a "noindex" tag, a wrong canonical, or no links in
- Sends one short list: what's missing, why, and the fix
THE PROMPT
Viktor, check whether Google can see every page on our website.
Pull every URL from our sitemap. For each one, use the URL Inspection tool in Google Search Console and record its status (indexed, discovered but not indexed, crawled but not indexed, or unknown to Google).
For every page that is not indexed, check the page for a noindex tag, a canonical pointing somewhere else, and whether our menu, footer, homepage, or any other page links to it.
Then send me one short list: how many pages are on Google out of the total, which ones are missing, the likely reason for each, and the simplest fix. Put the fixes that need a developer at the top.
Run it again on the first Monday of every month and tell me what changed.
YOUR TURN
Viktor plugs into Google Search Console and runs this whole check for you. Paste the prompt above and you'll have your list in minutes.
Talk next week,
Scott
