What changed
It used to be general AI tips: tools, prompts, what was new that week. The same thing you can get from thirty other newsletters, which is probably how you found me. That is why I ran out of enthusiasm for writing it.
Now it is The Operator's Log. I run a marketing agency with dozens of clients, and over the last year I handed a real amount of that company's work to an AI employee. Reporting, prospecting, content, internal ops. Some of it worked immediately. Some of it produced confident nonsense I had to catch before a client saw it.

- Steal This — the actual prompt or process, ready to copy
- What Broke — the honest failure, every week
- The Ask — one thing, never five
Never: tool roundups, model-release commentary, or a statistic I cannot source.
One thing you can use today
Judgment or assembly
Take your most annoying recurring task and split it in two. Assembly is the gathering, formatting, copying, and chasing. Judgment is deciding what it means and what to do about it.
Hand over the assembly. Keep the judgment. Almost everyone who tells me AI did not work for their business tried it the other way around.
